How this one is put together

Elastic tension band

One side uses stretch nylon webbing while the other runs curly nylon fabric with a clip. The elastic holds light coats or a water bottle tight against the bag body so they do not slide out during a walk.

Copper alloy hardware

We fit a plated copper alloy hook with a gate opening of 0.78 inches. The hardware resists rust under humid weather and holds up to 18 kilograms when latched properly onto a D-ring or handle.

Webbing and green tone

The strap measures 1.18 inches wide and half an inch thick when packed down. The green shade blends well with grey canvas or black ballistic nylon, hiding dirt from baggage racks and ground contact.

Washing and fabric care

Rinse the nylon webbing with plain water when trail dust builds up. Avoid alkaline soaps that degrade the elastic core, and hang the band in the shade to dry before tucking it back into a pocket.
