We built this compact sleeve case to carry a thirteen inch laptop without excess bulk. The main shell uses recycled fabric woven from PET bottles, trimmed in a quiet gray with a cool blue edge along the seams. How this one is put together

Velvet lined sleeve

The dedicated hardware compartment uses thick padding and a soft velvet lining. It holds a 13 inch MacBook Air or Surface Pro firmly in place, keeping the metal finish clear of abrasions and minor transit bumps.

Expanding zip gusset

Unfastening the outer metal zipper expands the side wall from 3.15 inches to 5.91 inches deep. This takes the interior capacity from 5.3 liters up to 10.2 liters for bulkier chargers and extra layers.

Recycled shell fabric

We chose a tear-resistant weave made from recycled plastic bottles. The coated surface shrugs off light rain and surface dirt, while the subtle blue edge framing the gray panels hides daily desk wear well.

Twenty organizer pockets

Behind the front panel sits a dedicated organizer wall packed with 20 distinct slots. You can secure cards, pens, phones, and travel documents up to A4 size without letting small items wander around the main floor.

Before you commit

Hold a ruler across your own screen corner to corner before you decide. This one is cut for 13 inches, and a machine with a thick bezel can eat that margin on its own. The expansion zip buys depth, not width, so a wider chassis still will not go in.
