How this one is put together

Hard front shell

We molded the front panel in resilient synthetic leather backed with nylon cloth. It sheds drizzle on a walk, wipes clean with a damp rag, and retains its shape even when the pack sits half packed on the floor.

Gusseted expansion zip

A continuous coil zip runs the side panels to shift total depth from 3.5 inches up to 6.7 inches. Leave it closed for a flat daily profile, or run the slider open when you need space for spare layers.

Screen compartment padding

The dedicated rear section opens wide up to 180 degrees for quick checks at transit gates. Thick sponge lining suspends a fifteen point six inch notebook away from edges and off the bottom floor of the bag.

Harness and back panel

We backed the pack with multi-panel ventilated mesh over thick foam sections to let air move. Contoured shoulder straps adjust along webbing guides, and an adjustable chest belt keeps the load centered while walking.

Before you commit

Hold a ruler across your own screen corner to corner before you decide. This one is cut for 15, 15.6, 16 inches, and a machine with a thick bezel can eat that margin on its own. The expansion zip buys depth, not width, so a wider chassis still will not go in.
