How this one is put together

Laptop chamber sizing

Internal dimensions run 16.14 by 11.8 inches. We padded the compartment and lined it with soft velvet to keep the chassis of wide machines, including most 17 inch laptops and larger 18 inch rigs, separated from cables and hardware.

Expansion gusset track

Closed flat, the profile stays at 1.38 inches deep for crowded trains. Run the full perimeter zip around the center to open the gusset to 5.31 inches of depth, letting the main cavity take bulky jackets or odd-shaped items.

Outer pocket layout

Two front zip pockets organize mice, pens, and battery banks, while twin side slots hold a water bottle and a compact umbrella. The external USB pass-through port lets your own internal power brick charge a phone through the exterior shell.

Black recycled shell

We weave the outer panels from recycled PET plastic bottles to resist tears and ward off grime. The matte black fabric looks sharp under office strip lights, sheds stray coffee spills, and wipes clean with a damp rag after travel.

Before you commit

Hold a ruler across your own screen corner to corner before you decide. This one is cut for 17 inches, and a machine with a thick bezel can eat that margin on its own. The expansion zip buys depth, not width, so a wider chassis still will not go in.
