We built this pair of replacement shoulder pads to soften the bite of webbing straps under heavy loads. Each pad measures 13.2 inches long and wraps around bare straps up to 2.6 inches wide. The plain black finish stays quiet against dark jackets and will not show grease from daily handling.

How this one is put together

Molded 3D cushion core

Inside each sleeve sits an air foam layer 1.2 inches thick. The 3D profile compresses under weight to spread strap pressure across the collarbone while the elastic fabric breathes and wicks sweat away during long walks.

Dual-side textured grip

We coated both exterior faces with raised rubber granules. The pad stays planted on your coat without sliding off the shoulder, while the inner face grips the webbing strap so it cannot creep back and forth while you walk.

Hook and loop closure

A full-length hook and loop seam secures the sleeve over bare webbing in seconds. It pulls open flat on the bench for a quick swap between laptop bags, messenger bags, guitar cases, and heavy tool carriers.

Strap width sizing

The sleeve measures 3.15 inches across when closed flat. We tailored the fold to wrap cleanly around any standard webbing strap under 2.6 inches wide without bunching up or leaving loose edges at the sides.

Before you commit

Check the hardware on the bag you already own before ordering. Our fittings need a D-ring or the equivalent loop, and a sewn-in webbing tab will not take a swivel hook however strong the strap is.
