How this one is put together

Expansion gusset depth

Opening the perimeter zip releases a folding gusset that increases interior depth from 1.57 inches up to 3.74 inches. It gives you room for power bricks and a folded sweater without distorting the outer profile.

Internal device pocket

The main sleeve holds laptops up to 16 inches against low-rebound foam padding and diamond-stitched velvet lining. A raised foam ridge runs parallel to the zipper teeth so metal pullers stay clear of laptop corners.

Lay flat opening

Double zip sliders let both compartments open wide up to 180 degrees on a security bench. Ten interior organizer slots keep cables, hard drives, and small notebooks separated and visible when the case is fully unzipped.

Recycled outer shell

Before you commit

Hold a ruler across your own screen corner to corner before you decide. This one is cut for 15, 15.4, 15.6, 16 inches, and a machine with a thick bezel can eat that margin on its own. The expansion zip buys depth, not width, so a wider chassis still will not go in.
