We built this case around a fleece-lined cradle sized for 13 inch laptops and 12.9 inch tablets. Before you commit

Hold a ruler across your own screen corner to corner before you decide. This one is cut for 12.9, 13 inches, and a machine with a thick bezel can eat that margin on its own. The expansion zip buys depth, not width, so a wider chassis still will not go in.
