We tailored this shell around large screens up to 17 inches, lining the computer sleeve with soft velvet so the metal chassis stays clean. How this one is put together

Velvet laptop sleeve

The dedicated tech compartment measures 16.14 by 11.8 inches, scaled for large seventeen-inch frames and slim eighteen-inch laptops. We lined both faces with soft velvet to keep metal corners and screen lids free of surface scuffs.

Expansion gusset depth

Closed down, the pack stays close to your back for train aisles. Pulling the outer track lets the main body expand from under two inches out past five inches, giving you room for a jacket, spare cables, and desk gear.

Recycled outer fabric

We weave the exterior shell from recycled plastic bottle yarns. The resulting polyester sheds drizzle, resists tearing, and lets you wipe away street dust or coffee splashes with a damp cloth across the dark gray panels.

Port and pocket layout

A USB pass-through port on the side lets you connect your phone to your own internal battery bank. Two front zip pockets and side slots hold power bricks, mice, cables, and a compact umbrella.

Before you commit

Hold a ruler across your own screen corner to corner before you decide. This one is cut for 17 inches, and a machine with a thick bezel can eat that margin on its own. The expansion zip buys depth, not width, so a wider chassis still will not go in.
