How this one is put together

Memory foam core

We cut the internal padding at 2.5 cm thick. The memory foam compresses slowly under a full load, absorbing the sharp bite of narrow webbing straps on luggage or camera gear.

Extended pad length

At 33 cm long and 8 cm wide, each pad covers a broad contact patch. The extended run stays put across the top of your shoulder without digging in at the edges.

Neoprene underside

The base layer uses textured, elastic neoprene to grip clothing and prevent twisting. The open air-foam structure vents heat and wicks sweat during long walks between terminals.

Hook and loop closure

Full-length hook and loop flaps fold around bare bag straps up to 8 cm wide. You can peel them off quickly and drop the pair in a cold machine wash.

Before you commit

Check the hardware on the bag you already own before ordering. Our fittings need a D-ring or the equivalent loop, and a sewn-in webbing tab will not take a swivel hook however strong the strap is.
