How this one is put together

Fixed shoulder cushion

We stitch the breathable padded section directly to the nylon webbing so it stays in place on your shoulder. You will not have to reach up and slide the pad back into position while walking with heavy gear.

Balanced dual buckles

Two non-slip adjustment slides let you set the overall length from 37 inches up to 57 inches. Shortening or lengthening from both sides keeps the padded zone resting squarely over your collarbone instead of wandering off center.

Aluminum swivel hooks

The metal snap hooks use a wide opening for thick D-rings and rotate 360 degrees to prevent the webbing from twisting. We chose aluminum alloy hardware rated for loads up to 18 kilograms.

Black on black nylon

Dense woven black nylon webbing resists fraying along the edges and pairs cleanly with dark work bags or travel gear. The muted black finish hides daily contact marks and wipes clean with a damp cloth.
