How this one is put together

Fixed shoulder padding

The thick cushion is stitched directly to the webbing so it stays seated on your shoulder as you walk. Breathable lining underneath keeps the pad from sliding off a wool overcoat or a cotton shirt.

Dual balanced adjusters

Buckles on both sides let you pull the strap down from 57 inches to 37 inches without moving the pad off center. The clasps bite hard into the nylon weave, holding their setting under heavy tools or luggage.

Alloy twist-lock hooks

We cast the swivel hooks from lightweight aluminum alloy with a wide gate opening. They rotate 360 degrees freely to prevent twisted webbing and clip cleanly onto standard D-rings, eyelets, and molded anchors.

Wine edge detailing

A slender strip of deep wine fabric lines the black webbing border. The darker red tone resists visible ground scuffs during transit and brings a subtle contrast to plain dark canvas or leather carry.
