How this one is put together

Removable shoulder pad

The shoulder cushion measures 13.4 inches long and 0.9 inches thick. We lined the inside with dense neoprene foam that grips your jacket shoulder without slipping while deadening the shock of a heavy load.

Alloy swivel snap hooks

We cast the hardware from solid alloy rated to carry up to 85 kilograms. The snap hooks swivel a full 360 degrees to prevent strap twists, and the wide gate opening clips onto thick D-rings without binding.

Dual slide adjusters

Both ends of the strap adjust independently through metal tri-glide sliders. This allows you to center the thick shoulder pad over your collarbone regardless of your height or how low you like the bag to ride.

Nylon webbing weave

The 1.5-inch wide nylon webbing combines soft handfeel with high tensile strength. The coffee brown dye hides road dust, resisting fraying along the edges where the strap rubs your coats and gear.
