We built this replacement shoulder strap out of dense 1.5-inch nylon webbing and paired it with a substantial neoprene pad. The light gray tone pairs cleanly with lighter work bags and stays neat through daily handling. Both ends adjust independently to center the padding over your collarbone.

How this one is put together

Thick cushioned pad

The sliding pad measures 13.4 inches long and almost an inch thick. We layered neoprene over high-density foam to absorb the bounce of a heavy briefcase without slipping off your jacket.

Dual slide adjusters

Twin alloy buckles let you shorten or lengthen the strap from 38 inches to 60 inches. You adjust both tails so the shoulder pad stays firmly in the middle of your carry.

Alloy swivel hooks

We cast the snap hooks with a wider gate opening to clear thick luggage D-rings. The 360-degree swivel base keeps the webbing flat, tested to hold loads up to 85 kilograms.

Light gray webbing

The light gray nylon weave takes heavy friction without fuzzing or fraying. It wipes down easily with a damp cloth and offers a bright alternative to standard dark hardware straps.
