How this one is put together

Neoprene shoulder cushion

We built the removable pad out of high-density core wrapped in neoprene fabric. It spans 13.4 inches long and 0.9 inches thick, spreading the weight of a heavy travel pack across the shoulder without slipping.

Cast alloy hardware

The metal hooks swivel a full 360 degrees to stop the webbing from twisting. We widened the gate opening to 0.35 inches, making it easy to snap onto thick luggage D-rings or camera bags.

Woven nylon webbing

We use 1.5 inch wide nylon webbing that feels smooth in hand yet resists fraying along the edges. The material adjusts smoothly through the slides from 38 inches up to 60 inches total length.

Dark gray tone

Under office bulbs, the dark gray weave presents a muted, neutral finish that hides daily scuffs. It matches black, navy, or olive bag bodies without drawing unwanted attention to the attachment points.
