We build this pad 33 cm long so the cushioning extends across your whole collarbone rather than pinching in one spot. The core uses 2.5 cm of dense memory foam layered with neoprene, finished in black with a thin blue trim running along the seam. It wraps around existing webbing on messenger bags, camera cases, or luggage.

How this one is put together

Memory foam core

We stack 2.5 cm of memory foam inside an elastic neoprene sleeve. The cushion spreads the downward pull of a heavy laptop case or loaded duffel across a broader contact patch.

Blue edge trim

The main body uses plain black synthetic fabric, bounded by a sharp blue border that adds a modest touch of contrast. It stays clean against dark coats and handles regular wear without fraying.

Hook and loop grip

Full-length hook and loop flaps wrap around straps up to 8 cm wide. The underside grips the strap material firmly so the pad stays where you set it on your shoulder.

Washing and care

The neoprene and foam layers shed sweat and can go straight into a machine wash cycle when grime builds up. Air dry flat on the bench to keep the foam springy.

Before you commit

Check the hardware on the bag you already own before ordering. Our fittings need a D-ring or the equivalent loop, and a sewn-in webbing tab will not take a swivel hook however strong the strap is.
