We built this replacement pad with 2.5 cm of memory foam and elastic neoprene to spread heavy haul loads across the collarbone. The neutral grey fabric blends against dark webbing and hides everyday dust from commutes. Hook-and-loop closures run the full 33 cm length so it wraps cleanly around bare straps.

How this one is put together

Memory foam core

We cut the inner core from 2.5 cm thick memory foam that yields under weight and rebounds when you set the bag down. It spreads point pressure across an 8 cm width over your shoulder.

Dual layer breathable backing

Elastic neoprene pairs with an open-cell air foam layer underneath to absorb shock while walking. The underside structure vents heat and wicks moisture during long walks across terminals or rail platforms.

Secure wrap closure

Long hook-and-loop strips fasten along the entire sleeve. It opens flat so you can wrap it over fixed webbing on messenger bags, duffels, camera packs, or guitar cases without unthreading hardware.

Everyday grey finish

The grey exterior handles daily friction against coats without showing chalky scuff marks. When the fabric picks up grime from travel, strip the pad off the webbing and run it through a standard machine wash cycle.

Check the hardware on the bag you already own before ordering. Our fittings need a D-ring or the equivalent loop, and a sewn-in webbing tab will not take a swivel hook however strong the strap is.
