How this one is put together

Internal spongia core

The 0.8 inch spongia core absorbs sudden shocks while spreading weight evenly. It keeps broad nylon webbing from digging in during long days with a loaded pack.

Sized for wide straps

Measuring 8.9 by 3.2 inches, these pads slide cleanly over two inch webbing. They handle straps up to 2.36 inches wide on plate carriers, duffels, and tactical rucks.

MOLLE loops and elastic

Three tactical attachment points run along the exterior roughly one inch apart. We built the center point with elastic so you can clip small gear or route hydration tubes.

Wicking fabric and care

The flexible outer fabric moves moisture away from the neck and collar. When the camouflage gray picks up field grime, toss the pair into a standard washing machine.

Before you commit

Check the hardware on the bag you already own before ordering. Our fittings need a D-ring or the equivalent loop, and a sewn-in webbing tab will not take a swivel hook however strong the strap is.
