We built this pack flat for the daily train ride, then added an expansion track for heavier days. The internal sleeve cradles screens up to 16 inches, including 15.6 inch work notebooks and 15 inch portables. When you pull the continuous center zip, the gusset opens up to triple your internal packing depth.

How this one is put together
Velvet lined sleeve
The dedicated computer compartment uses soft velvet backing to cushion your machine. It fits devices up to 16 inches along with smaller 15 and 15.6 inch hardware, keeping aluminum lids away from rougher gear.
Full expansion track
Closed down, the shell measures 1.57 inches thick. Undo the perimeter zip and the gusset spreads out to 5.51 inches deep, creating space for a light jacket, bulkier power bricks, and travel essentials.
Recycled woven shell
We weave the outer panels from recycled PET plastic bottles. The water-resistant finish sheds light rain on the walk between terminals, resists common scuffs, and wipes clean with a damp rag after a muddy commute.
Split pocket layout
Two front slots hold cables and small accessories, while side slots take a compact bottle or umbrella. Around back, we stitched a flat pocket sized for A4 notebooks so loose documents stay uncreased.

Before you commit
Hold a ruler across your own screen corner to corner before you decide. This one is cut for 15, 15.6, 16 inches, and a machine with a thick bezel can eat that margin on its own. The expansion zip buys depth, not width, so a wider chassis still will not go in.
