How this one is put together

Adjustable gusset zip

Closed, the bag measures 1.57 inches thick for tight trains. Open the continuous perimeter track and the body pushes out to 5.51 inches deep, creating space for a jacket and lunch alongside your computer.

Lined laptop compartment

We stitch thick padding on both faces of the tech pocket, finishing the inside with soft plush fabric. It holds a sixteen inch notebook cleanly without letting the corners bump the floor when set down.

External cable pouch

The separate 8.28 by 4.72 inch accessory case uses the same dark gray-black weave. It keeps loose power bricks, USB hubs, and pens grouped together so they do not settle at the bottom of the main bag.

Weather barrier weave

The exterior panels use a water-resistant synthetic fabric that causes light rain to bead and run off before soaking through. Dust wipes off with a damp rag without leaving water rings on the dark cloth.

Before you commit

Hold a ruler across your own screen corner to corner before you decide. This one is cut for 15, 16 inches, and a machine with a thick bezel can eat that margin on its own. The expansion zip buys depth, not width, so a wider chassis still will not go in.
