How this one is put together

Layered core padding

We build the core with 2.5 cm of dense memory foam layered alongside air foam. The assembly absorbs shocks when you walk and keeps heavy strap webbing from digging into your collarbone during long commutes.

Neoprene and airflow lining

Elastic neoprene covers the top, backed by a sweat-wicking air mesh underneath. This lining lets heat escape from your shoulder while the grippy base stops the pad from sliding around on smooth coat fabrics.

Hook and loop closure

Full-length velcro runs along the seam so you can wrap the cushion around guitar slings, messenger straps, or travel luggage handles. The grip holds fast under tension and opens cleanly when moving between bags.

Camouflage green finish

We chose this muted camouflage green pattern to sit quietly against dark nylon packs and waxed canvas. The material washes clean in a standard machine cycle when road dirt or sweat builds up over time.

Before you commit

Check the hardware on the bag you already own before ordering. Our fittings need a D-ring or the equivalent loop, and a sewn-in webbing tab will not take a swivel hook however strong the strap is.
