We built this pair of replacement cushions to take the bite out of webbing straps on loaded carry-ons and gear bags. How this one is put together

Layered cushion core

We stack memory foam over an air foam base to create a pad 2.5 centimeters thick. This combination absorbs shocks while you walk and spreads strap pressure across the whole shoulder instead of digging into one spot.

Neoprene and airflow lining

The underside pairs elastic neoprene with breathable foam channels to move heat away from your body. It wicks away sweat on long walks between terminals, keeping the contact patch dry and comfortable against your shirt.

Hook and loop closure

Long hook and loop strips run the full length of the 8 centimeter wide sleeve. You can wrap it snugly around thin webbing or wider shoulder straps on camera cases, duffels, and laptop bags.

Anti slip backing and care

A textured underside grips your jacket so the pad stays where you set it instead of sliding down your arm. When it picks up dust from the road, drop the pads straight into the washing machine.

Check the hardware on the bag you already own before ordering. Our fittings need a D-ring or the equivalent loop, and a sewn-in webbing tab will not take a swivel hook however strong the strap is.
