57 inch Bag Straps with Fixed Pad for Replacement, DR02O01
We built this 57-inch replacement strap to solve the wandering pad problem on heavy briefcases and messenger bags. The padded center stays centered on your shoulder while adjusters on both sides let you balance the drop evenly. It clips onto any standard D-ring hardware without binding.

How this one is put together
Fixed center pad
We stitch the breathable padded section directly into the center of the strap run so it cannot slide down the webbing while you walk. It cushions heavy gear and stays right where you set it on your collarbone.
Dual balance buckles
Two separate adjustment sliders let you shorten or lengthen the webbing from both ends. This keeps the shoulder pad centered regardless of whether you set the total length closer to 37 inches or all the way to 57 inches.
Swivel snap hooks
The ends terminate in aluminum alloy snap hooks that rotate 360 degrees to prevent the webbing from twisting under load. The wide hook opening clips easily over thick metal D-rings, cast loops, and molded luggage attachment points.
Dense nylon webbing
We use tight-woven nylon webbing that slides smoothly through the balance buckles yet holds its position under weight. It resists fraying at the edges and wipes clean with a damp cloth if it picks up street dirt.
