We built this 33-centimeter pad to slide onto thin laptop straps, camera slings, or guitar webbing under 2.8 inches wide. The core uses 2.5 centimeters of dense memory foam topped with perforated air foam to soften heavy loads. Black fabric covers the exterior to hide daily scuffs, while the blue underside adds a clear trace of color against your shirt.

How this one is put together

Layered core padding

We laminate memory foam against a resilient air foam layer. The combination compresses under tension without bottoming out on your collarbone, dispersing the downward bite of a loaded travel bag across a broad 8-centimeter contact area.

Breathable neoprene lining

Elastic neoprene sits next to your clothing along the blue inner face. The material wicks sweat on long walks, while the textured surface grips your shoulder seam to stop the webbing from sliding forward.

Hook and loop closure

Full-length velcro tabs fold around your existing bag strap. You can wrap it around fixed webbing without unthreading buckles, and the pad detaches quickly whenever the fabric needs a run through the washing machine.

Black and blue build

The dark outer shell resists marks from transit floors and commuter seats. We bound the edges in blue stitching, giving the piece a distinct two-tone profile that pairs well with dark tactical bags or grey messenger webbing.

Before you commit

Check the hardware on the bag you already own before ordering. Our fittings need a D-ring or the equivalent loop, and a sewn-in webbing tab will not take a swivel hook however strong the strap is.
