We built this 33 cm replacement pad with a core of dense memory foam wrapped in breathable neoprene. It wraps around bare webbing on a heavy duffle, camera bag, or guitar case. The Butterfly print adds a distinct visual accent across the collarbone while the underside grips your coat.

How this one is put together

Double layer padding

We laminate memory foam over an elastic air foam base to build a 2.5 cm cushion. The layered core absorbs shock from a loaded bag and spreads the downward pull across the entire width of your shoulder.

Hook and loop wrap

The sleeve opens flat and secures with long hook and loop strips along the edge. It takes webbing straps up to 2.8 inches wide, closing tightly so the pad stays put instead of sliding along the line.

Neoprene underside

We lined the inner face with textured neoprene to wick sweat on warm walks and keep the pad from sliding off a smooth nylon jacket. When dirt builds up after daily use, the whole piece handles a machine wash.

Butterfly fabric

The printed top shell gives the pad a patterned look that pairs well with plain dark messenger bags and fabric cases. The woven surface holds up against abrasion from seatbelts and strap edges without fraying.

Before you commit

Check the hardware on the bag you already own before ordering. Our fittings need a D-ring or the equivalent loop, and a sewn-in webbing tab will not take a swivel hook however strong the strap is.
