How this one is put together

Fixed memory foam pad

The 12.6-inch shoulder section uses thick memory foam backed with ventilated mesh and neoprene. Because we stitched the pad into a fixed position on the webbing, it stays put on your shoulder without sliding down during transit.

Dual balanced buckles

Adjusting the webbing from both sides lets you position the thick pad dead center across your shoulder. The twin hardware clasps hold their setting under weight, preventing the strap from slipping or lengthening as you walk.

Aluminum alloy swivels

We cast the swivel snap hooks from aluminum alloy to support heavy daily packs and travel bags. The open jaw clips cleanly onto standard D-rings, while the 360-degree rotation prevents the 1.5-inch webbing from twisting.

Gray rose webbing

The tight superfine fiber nylon braid feels smooth against clothing and resists edge fraying under load. The gray rose yarn hides daily scuffs well and softens the look of an everyday briefcase or laptop case.

Before you commit

The 78 inches quoted here are end to end at the longest setting, hook tip to hook tip. Measure the strap you are replacing the same way, because a shoulder-to-hip figure will send you a size short.
