We built this 78 inch replacement strap with dual balance buckles so the fixed cushion stays squarely over your shoulder. The dark webbing is framed with a subtle wine edge that reads neat against black or grey carry. It adjusts down to 43 inches and connects using heavy-duty aluminium alloy snap hooks.

How this one is put together

Fixed shoulder cushion

The 12.6 inch pad combines memory foam, neoprene, and ventilated mesh so heavy bags do not dig in. Because we stitched it directly into place, the padding stays planted on your shoulder without sliding down the webbing.

Dual balance buckles

Two balanced sliders let you pull slack from both ends independently. This keeps the cushion centered on your shoulder while preventing the webbing from creeping out of adjustment under loads up to 50 kilograms.

Aluminium swivel hooks

We cast the snap hooks from solid aluminium alloy with full 360-degree rotation. The wide jaw opening latches cleanly over thick D-rings on laptop bags, duffels, and travel cases without binding.

Webbing and wine edge

The 1.5-inch webbing uses dense nylon with superfine fiber braiding for a smooth hand. We finished the borders with a wine edge that adds a clean touch of contrast without showing everyday dirt.

Before you commit

The 78 inches quoted here are end to end at the longest setting, hook tip to hook tip. Measure the strap you are replacing the same way, because a shoulder-to-hip figure will send you a size short.
