How this one is put together

Fixed shoulder cushion

We stitched the 12.6 inch pad directly to the webbing so it will not slide down your arm. Inside, memory foam, neoprene, and ventilated mesh cushion the collarbone under heavy packs.

Dual balanced buckles

Adjusters sit on both ends of the strap rather than one. This lets you center the thick pad precisely over your shoulder while shortening or lengthening the webbing between 37 and 58 inches.

Aluminum swivel hooks

We cast the hardware from aluminum alloy tested to hold fifty kilograms. Each clasp rotates a full 360 degrees and has a wide gate opening to snap onto thick D-rings without pinching.

Striped nylon webbing

The 1.5 inch wide braided webbing pairs superfine fibers with alternating black and white stripes. It stays soft in the hand, resists fraying at the edges, and wipes clean with a damp cloth.
