We built this replacement strap for tall frames and deep crossbody carry, extending out to 74 inches from clip to clip. The army green webbing has a muted, utilitarian tone that hides daily scuffs and pairs naturally with waxed canvas or dark nylon bags. Two sliders let you set the length on both sides so the central pad stays put on your collarbone.

How this one is put together

Fixed shoulder cushion

The 12.6 inch pad stays anchored to the webbing instead of sliding around. We layered memory foam over breathable mesh and neoprene to spread heavy loads across your shoulder.

Dual balance adjusters

Sliders on both tails let you shorten or lengthen the webbing from 37 inches up to 74 inches. This keeps the thick cushion centered no matter how high or low you carry the bag.

Swivel snap hooks

Cast aluminum alloy hardware rotates a full 360 degrees to prevent the strap from twisting. The wide-mouth snap hooks clip cleanly onto thick D-rings and take loads up to 50 kg.

Fine weave nylon

We chose a soft superfine fiber nylon braid that feels smooth against shirts without catching. The 1.5 inch webbing resists fraying along the edges and cleans easily with a damp cloth.
