We built this 74 inch replacement strap with a wide, fixed center cushion so the padding stays parked on your collarbone instead of wandering down the webbing. How this one is put together

Fixed shoulder cushion

The 12.6 inch pad stays anchored right where we stitched it. We layered memory foam, breathable mesh, and neoprene to spread heavy loads across your collarbone without the cushion drifting down the strap.

Dual balance adjusters

Two separate slide buckles let you shorten or lengthen either end independently. This keeps the thick shoulder pad centered over your shoulder regardless of how high or low you carry your bag.

Braided nylon webbing

We weave the 1.5 inch strap from fine nylon fibers rated to carry up to 50 kilograms. The pink weave resists fraying at the edges and stays soft against cotton shirts and knitwear.

Aluminum swivel hooks

Solid aluminum alloy clasps rotate a full 360 degrees to prevent the webbing from twisting. Their wide gate opening clips directly onto thick D-rings on messenger bags, duffels, and laptop cases.

Before you commit

The 74 inches quoted here are end to end at the longest setting, hook tip to hook tip. Measure the strap you are replacing the same way, because a shoulder-to-hip figure will send you a size short.
