We built this 74-inch replacement shoulder strap for cross-body carry on heavier bags. The black-red-black stripe runs down dense nylon webbing, flanked by cast aluminum alloy swivel clasps. Dual sliding buckles let you trim the length from both ends while keeping the thick shoulder pad parked squarely over your collarbone.

How this one is put together

Fixed shoulder cushion

We stitched the 12.6-inch shoulder pad directly to the webbing run. Layered with memory foam, neoprene, and breathable mesh, the underside grips your jacket so the pad stays where you placed it.

Dual balanced adjustments

Two aluminum sliders control webbing length between 37 inches and 74 inches. Shortening or lengthening both sides keeps the thick pad centered, maintaining balanced weight distribution without unwanted slip under heavy loads.

Aluminum alloy clasps

The snap hooks feature wide jaw clearances and full 360-degree swivel bases. Forged from sturdy aluminum alloy, the hardware clips cleanly over thick D-rings on tool bags, duffels, and laptop cases.

Striped nylon webbing

The black-red-black striped nylon braid measures 1.5 inches across. The weave resists edge fraying, takes abrasions in stride, and adds a restrained flash of red beside plain dark luggage fabrics.
