We built this 59 inch replacement strap around a central, fixed cushion that will not wander along the webbing. The light gray nylon webbing has a fine weave that resists fraying and takes loads up to 50 kilograms without stretching out. How this one is put together

Fixed memory foam pad

The cushion uses ventilated mesh, neoprene, and thick memory foam stitched directly into place. It measures 12.6 inches long by 2.8 inches wide, keeping the weight spread across your shoulder without sliding out of position under load.

Dual balance buckles

Adjusters on both sides of the strap let you balance the length between 37 inches and 59 inches. This layout keeps the pad centered and stops the webbing from slipping when the bag shifts.

Aluminum swivel hooks

We cast the hardware from solid aluminum alloy with a full 360-degree swivel and wide gate clearance. They clip cleanly over thick D-rings on messenger bags, duffels, and heavy tool carry.

Light gray webbing

The superfine fiber nylon braid feels smooth against light shirts and dark coats alike. It wipes clean with a damp cloth and holds its neutral tone without showing friction marks from everyday carry.
